The lecture hall will be equipped with standard overhead for transparencies and
PC with presentation projector for Power Point presentations
(MS Windows 98, 2000, XP and MS PowerPoints 2000 or higher, no Makintosh will be available).
If you use movies in your presentation it may be useful to bring the used
codecs with you to install in case of a problem.
You are strongly advised to have your presentation on CD, or USB FlashDrive as
it will be difficult to use personal notebooks because of a very dense program and lack of time.

Voltage standard in Russia is 220 V/50Hz.
Posters should fit the 90x110 cm format, portrait orientation.
The boat ‘Georgy Zhukov' departs from Nizhny Novgorod at 09:00 on July 4.
Accommodation on board will be available starting from 20:00 on July 3.
Special bus service will be available to transfer HPLB participants to a hotel or to the boat. The participants arriving by the night flight from Moscow ( 23:05 ) on July 3 and by Lufthansa (00:10) on July 4 will be transferred directly to the boat.
The participants arriving by the morning trains from Moscow (train No.22 arriving at 07.38 and train No.24 arriving at 07.55) on July 4 will be met in the central hall of the Railway station and transferred to the boat.

Travel instructions for those who will travel independently:
The Railway station is located not far from the River station (‘Rechnoi Vokzal'). You may easily reach the River station by public transport. The bus stop is situated just across the street when you go from the Railway station. You need a bus or a route taxi as far as the stop ‘Rechnoi Vokzal' (numbers 2, 33, 182). It costs 8 rubles and it takes 5-10 minutes to get to the River station. If you take a taxi, it will cost about 150 rubles. In 2 minutes walk there is a terminal tram station; you may take tram #1 to reach the stop ‘Rechnoi Vokzal'.
